Who are your nurses?
Our nursing assistants are certified, experienced professionals who are carefully vetted and selected for their skill, reliability, and compassion. We work only with nurses who meet our high standards and who treat every client with dignity and respect. Some nurse assistants are not certified but trained as companions.
How quickly can care begin?
In many cases, care can start within 24–48 hours. We do our best to respond quickly, especially when families are managing a new diagnosis, hospital discharge, or an urgent change in needs.
What does care cost?
Rates vary depending on the level of care needed and the number of hours requested. We’re happy to provide clear, upfront pricing once we understand your specific needs.
What hours are available? Full time? Part time?
We offer flexible scheduling - shift minimums are 6 hours to max 12 hours per assistant and can be 1 day a week to 7 days a week. We also offer overnight, or 24-hour care typically with 2-3 nursing assistants. We work with you to determine the schedule that best fits your family’s needs.
Will we have a dedicated provider, or multiple?
Whenever possible, we match clients with a dedicated nurse to ensure consistency and comfort. For longer shifts or around-the-clock care, a small team may be involved to ensure safe, reliable coverage.
What types of care can your nurses provide?
Our nurses support a wide range of needs, including medication management, post-hospital care, chronic condition support, mobility assistance, and general in-home nursing care. We help match you with a nurse who has the right experience for your situation.
How do you match a nurse with my loved one?
We take time to understand your loved one’s needs, preferences, and care goals. Based on that information, we recommend a nurse who has the appropriate experience and temperament to support your family.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. If you’re unsure whether your location is included, just reach out - we’re always happy to help.
What if our care needs change?
We understand that care needs can shift over time. Whether you need more hours, fewer hours, or a different type of support, we’ll work with you to adjust quickly and smoothly. Our goal is to make transitions as easy and stress-free as possible for your family and your loved one.
Are your services covered by insurance?
Most private-duty nursing services are paid for directly by the client and are not typically covered by traditional health insurance or Medicare. Some long-term care insurance policies may offer reimbursement, depending on your plan. We’re happy to provide documentation to support any claims you submit.
